System Requirements

The system requirements will vary slightly per product however you will generally need at least:

A Windows® Operating system (ex. 98, ME, 2000 or XP)
Pentium® III 500MHz Processor (CPU)
128Mb of Memory (RAM)
5 GB of free hard drive space for single layer media, 10 GB for dual layer media.
A DVD Writer (DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R or DVD+RW)
Blank DVD Media (DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R or DVD+RW)

When making DVD to DVD copies, it is nice to have 2 DVD drives so you don't have to swap. However, that is an optional luxury... you only need a single drive (dvd burner).

If you are going to copy DVD to CD or DVD to hard drive then you don't need a DVD burner.

The faster your system, the faster it will be to make copies. However, most home systems and laptops are plenty powerful enough to get the job done. Older machines may just take a little longer.
